The NHS has just launched a new hotine for people who are experiencing cancer symptons which their GP Practice is not taking seriously.

A new phone line staffed by specialist cancer nurses will provide an alternative route for patients to referred to be cancer consultants.

NHS stats suggest that over a quarter of a million peeople were checked for cancer in 2021 with taht figure set to rise significantly in 2022.

The NHS is committed to catching three quarters of all cancer symptons early so that they can be treated early, when remission rates are very encouraging.

This new hotline wll it is hoped return cancer services to pre-pandemic conditions.
